Dr. Di Wen Lai (Chinese Medicine) graduated from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine with a Bachelor of Medicine in 1986, after five years of study. Subsequent to moving to Perth, she studied Medical Laboratory Science for two years at Curtin University, Australia. Her postgraduate qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Preventative Medicine finished at ECU, Australia.

She is a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner, and Acupuncturist.

2011 she was appointed to the inaugural Chinese Medicine Board of Australia by the Australian Health Workforce Ministerial Council.

January 2017 she was appointed to the Advisory Committee on Complementary Medicines of the Therapeutic Goods Administration.

Since 1989 Dr Di Wen Lai (Chinese Medicine) has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine, in the field of Chinese herbal Medicine, acupuncture in Perth, Western Australia, at the Centre of Chinese Acupuncture. Here Di Wen works with patients to provide patient-focused personalised healthcare. She has rich experience in the management of many chronic health complaints as well as in general health maintenance and preventative medicine based on the principles of Chinese Medicine.
